Etienne Vassiliadis will present next 10th of October 2023 the potential of use of Tritordeum in brewing and distilling at the 52nd International Malting Barley Seminar hosted in the VLB Berlin.
For that occasion, a beer brewed by Dutch craft brewer Ambachtelijke Vechtdal Brouwerij will be offered for tasting to the audience. The Golden beer is a lager type beer with 50% malting barley and 50% Tritordeum raw kernel.
Tritordeum gives a slightly sweet and nutty flavor to the drink.
